Benue – Plateau FTZ and Ports Conference
Overview
Free trade zones, Seaports and Industrial parks have made a phenomenal contribution to the revenue base of many governments and communities across the Globe. In this Conference, we will explore how the economy of North Central Nigeria states can use the maritime sector as the major driver of economic growth, increase its Industrial capacity, Job creation and revenue for government and citizens through the Development of Dry ports with FTZ and development of Industrial clusters focused on Agriculture, Mining, IT, manufacturing, etc across different administrative divisions.
Our focus sessions will be on the master plan for Regional economic Integration between Benue, Plateau and other states in North Central Nigeria and Seaports in coastal states. Trade links by light rail and inland waterways system will be examined for further development prospects. Financing solutions and partnership options for government, groups, diasporas and companies will also be discussed in the focus session.
