Overview
This roundtable event is a discourse on 3 related subjects. The Blue economy has made a phenomenal contribution to the revenue base of many governments and communities across the Globe. In this event, we will explore how Bayelsa State can increase its IGR, Job creation and revenue for it’s citizens through the Blue economy. For the Marine transport segment, a conceptual masterplan for Marine transport terminals network in the state will be analyzed. Financing of modern marine vessels for upcoming entrepreneurs will also be discussed by panelists. The third section of this event is a Virtual Marine construction Expo. Coastal Engineering and Building construction in Swampy terrain can be very challenging. Here only innovative construction methods is the only solution. This section will promote Precast solutions for more efficient Construction in swamp terrain and riverine communities where materials logistics is a challenge. Participants will be enlightened on Financing solutions for government, groups, diasporas, contractors, companies, etc. BOCL Precast solutions will use this event as a platform to enlighten stakeholders on the benefits of using precast construction to build in Riverine and swam terrain, building of ferry terminals, jetties, etc.
